There Are a Lot of Different Contacts — We'll Get You into the Right Ones
Contact Lens Designs for Any Vision
Standard Contact Lenses
Standard Contact Lenses
These spherical contact lenses are the most common type and are available in different varieties. They have the same lens power throughout the entire optical surface to correct either myopia (nearsightedness) or hyperopia (farsightedness).
Toric Contact Lenses
Toric Contact Lenses
Unlike standard soft contacts, toric lenses have different powers of focus in different meridians, which provides correction for both nearsightedness and farsightedness. The shape of these lenses also make them a great choice for those with astigmatism or those who typically can’t wear standard lenses.
Multifocal Contact Lenses
Multifocal Contact Lenses
These types of lenses act as bifocal contacts because they contain different power zones on the lens for both close up and distance vision. Multifocal lenses are used to correct presbyopia, myopia, and hyperopia, and some are also used to correct astigmatism.
Cosmetic Contact Lenses
Cosmetic Contact Lenses
These contacts are designed to change or intensify your eye color, making them perfect for Halloween, theatrical performances, or other occasions. While these lenses won’t enhance your vision, a contact lens prescription is still required to make sure they fit comfortably on your eyes.

Standard & Specialty Types for Any Eyes
Soft Lenses
Soft contact lenses are among the most common lenses we use today, and are made from flexible, water-containing plastic. These lenses are simple to adapt to and can be easily adjusted. They either come as daily lenses, which are either disposed of or stored in a contact solution overnight, or less commonly as extended wear lenses, which you can wear for up to 30 days. They’re a great choice for treating nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
Rigid Gas Permeable & Scleral Lenses
Rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses were the first kind of contact lenses ever developed. These lenses last longer and are more durable than soft contacts, and they allow more oxygen to pass through to your eyes. A special type of RGP lens, scleral lenses, are excellent for patients with sensitive corneas or dry eye symptoms. These lenses vault over the cornea, resting on the sclera, or “white” of the eye.
Hybrid Lenses
Consisting of an RGP center with a soft outer ring, these lenses can correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia, and keratoconus. Some patients find these lenes to be more comfortable than standard RGP lenses, particularly if they have sensitive corneas.
Myopia Management Lenses
Myopia, or nearsightedness, is a common vision condition that can often be corrected with specialty contact lenses. These lenses are usually worn overnight, and gently reshape the eye’s cornea to slow myopia’s progression. Though myopia is typically corrected during childhood, we have options to help patients of all ages.
